  Very good to retain the 2 year AFCON Competition. The pressure was from the West and CAF should have been a bit sensible in taking that decision.
  EUFA was having it's Continental competition every 4 years and started complaining about African players leaving the leagues to join the AFCON every 2 years.
  What they did was to add a new competition they call Nations League.
  Surprisingly CAF followed and needed heeded to their bad suggestions to make AFCON a 4 year year competition . We seem not to think on our own.

  make it every 3 yrs instead. the tournament will help prep african teams before the wcup and give players enough time to recuperate from injuries
