  The MLS guys are not really being challenged enough. As a result, when they get an international opportunity they are a bit in awe. I saw Oduro and Nyarko at the the Chile v. Ghana friendly. They simply were not an important part of the game. They were like spectators.

  I do not think Oduro has a case for the World Cup, but I do think he, Kalif Alhassan, Patrick Nyarko,and Gershon Koffie should be considered for the next Cup of Nations. With the MLS season ending in December, those players would not have the added weight of leaving their club during the season to play. It would be a good event for the US and Scandinavian based players to showcase themselves for the national team.
