I've always thought of how Ghana will stop the celebrations of mediocrity and get real with issues that brings quality and standards to the Black Stars and not the empty tounting of World cup 1/4 finals which has become stale overtime.
I never thought there exist very tough minded Ghanaians like Kuffuor who could still bold a statement that Ghana has is trophyless in as many years and thus has achieved nothing except the talk of world cup 1/4 finals which other countries have achieved in the past even in more spectacular way; Senegal & Cameroon.
Some classless Ghanaian football analyist even continue to talk about 2010 Black Stars world cup 1/4 final performances as though once a performance at the world cup is transient to another 4 years after. Funny how shallow minded some football journalists in Ghana can be; they even claim Black Stars is the best among the 5 African countries going to the world cup and I wonder what standards or statistics they are rlying upon to make that assertion. This was a Black Stars that in 32 years have never tasted any trophy, they sruggle even against African football minnows like Cape Verde, DR Congo, Zambia, Mali, Burkina Faso etc. all from African backyard. Hope Ghana will be realistic with Black Stars self rating and stop the self deciet. Thank you Kuffuor for reminding Ghanaians there's nothing to celebrate and its just glorifications of mediocrity to continue to talk about world cup 1/4 finals which has become stale to the ear though.
