Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed that aside training, the Black Stars players also pray a lot in camp.
The west Africans need to beat Portugal and hope that Germany defeat USA in order to have any realistic chance of progressing in the 2014 World Cup after losing 2-1 to the Stars and Stripes and drawing 2-2 with the Germans.
“We pray a great deal, and our thoughts are accompanied by drums. We do this before games, after games - every day really,” Boateng told Deutche Welle.
Thursday’s game is a make or break for the 2010 World Cup quarter-finalists as Ghana hope to make it to the knockout stage for the third time in a row.
