It is about time many of these media people who take special delight in presenting jaundiced and unflattering stories about certain public or private individuals, should be allowed to get away with their 'foolishness'!

This writer has actually presented a jaundiced reporting of the sitting yesterday. Not only is his grammar pathetic but his report shows he was not listening.Although he sought from the start to say the money was from the Forex market, when pressed further he withdrew that statement saying he was not sure, which brought his credibility into question. On the advise of his lawyer he indicated he only signed for the money, which when asked how much could not tell the exact amount he signed for. That was most worrying to the committee though. These reporters need to be schooled properly.

I do not think such a horrible mistake could be attributed to Justice Senyo. I emphatically say this judging from the 2nd error: "...as far as he's concern(concerned)..."by the journalist. Let us give Justice Senyo the benefit of the doubt! On the other hand if he did commit such a horrible mistake unworthy of a judge sitting on a committee, I'd suggest he go back to elementary school to brush up rudimentary English.
It is uncommon that one wouldn't
ever go through the agony of wonderment to read most of the articles Ghanaian journalists write! The articles are full of mistakes-in terms of grammar, diction, correlation, inconsistencies etc. Sometimes one has to struggle to know whether reference is being made to either "the former" or "the latter" in a sentence or a paragraph. Supposedly, the Ghana News Agency comprises "good" journalists, but they make the most horrible mistakes as far as the handling of the Queens English is concerned. My suggestion to rectify this deficiency
is to make them go through a special curriculum of English at Legon before
their certificates from the Institute of Journalism are awarded.
The GNA should employ efficient editors who can catch all these stupid mistakes by a government agency, make the necessary corrections before they become published.
CAVEAT TO JOURNALISTS AND REPORTERS: If you know you are deficient in English writing ask someone else who is competent to bail you out-editors.
Avoid disgracing Ghana by polluting the Queens English. It is uncalled for being former subjects to the Queen.

You cite the GNA, but please take a look at Graphiconline;you may end up throwing up,literally speaking!
A majority of these 'loud-mouths' supposedly moved into journalism after initially attending teacher`s colleges, believe it or not!

The organization was chaotic because of in competent and bankrupt leadership. They didn't even appreciate the importance of signing contracts with Service Providers.Just wondering who on earth appointed these people to manage our taxes. The Commission is ridiculing them but they don't even see it.The Chairman tries to water things down to encourage them to expose themselves the more.

It is we the voters who appointed them. Most of us are so naive that they vote for a particular party thinking that the party belongs to one tribe instead of taking the economy into consideration

I occasionally read the Daily Guide, not necessarily to apprise myself of news and information but to laugh over some of the unbelievable bloopers that they consistently provide without fail, to their readers on a daily basis.
The state-owned Daily Graphic itself, is only slightly better than the Guide.
I think the Ghana Institute of Journalism should be divested from political pirates and handed back to the state.

So this dunce shows up at the commission unprepared! Who put him in charge? Well he is the product of a society that is good at planning scams and corrupt deals only.
Ghana is a disorganized cesspool of cheats and idiots.

let us simply change our currency to Ghana dollar. If government officials go buying dollars fro the street it tells us the real state of affairs n the country.
