  Essien played a fantastic game. He controlled the midfield much like in his hey days. Unfortunately, the goal against Milan was his fault. Essien should stop this style of pretending he is defending when he is not. In actual fact he should be banned from the 18 area and stick to the midfield because he is afraid of injuring his foot. We need him though to stabilize the Ghana midfield.
