These were model clubs created by then Heads of State, using state resources, yet it has been Hearts and Kotoko that laid the golden eggs of Ghana's football. The Polos, Mama Acquahs, Robert Hammond and Charles Taylor made their names mainly from their performances against Hearts. Likewise Opoku Nti,Kofi Badu, and Albert Asase also made their marks mainly from matches against Hearts. Who remembers you when you score a hat trick against any other team apart from these two teams? Well, it was done for Gold fields, if it gets worse, the GFA should increase the number of teams from 16 to 18 to accommodate Hearts, this is only fair.I am a Kotoko fan but I share Opoku Nti and Sarfo Gyamfi's feelings on Hearts' predicament. And for God's sake let's remove NDC-NPP politics from our football. What happens to Kotoko supporters who are NDC, and what happens to Hearts supporters who are NPP. Hearts and Kotoko were there before both NPP and NDC.
