  Perhaps more personal training in basketball gives better results than similar training in football. So it's possible Ghanaian players may emulate Bryant's training habits but not get the similar results.

Even though basketball is a team sport, it relies more on individuality than soccer which is also a team sport. Therefore, Grant asking his players to emulate Kobe's work ethics is preposterous.
