  It's only Africans who do these. They think power belongs to them....just remain in power till DEATH. I was in high school when this corrupt, selfish leader came to power. He manipulated his way thru for years, thinking he was the ONLY competent person in Africa. It's so SAD the African still doesn't understand leadership. They are there for themselves not for the people. After 29 yrs, no transformation in the CAF....same every 2 yrs ( No real time to prepare for AFCON. It's become so mundane). I think this man needs to be investigated. A lot of corruption led to this long rule. Thanks be to God. Hayatou is no more. African soccer will definitely see changes. He was like a big truck blocking the highway of African soccer. He ruled for almost 20 yrs before Africa representation at the Word Cup was increased to 5. It was still 50 something countries with just 2 places....SAD. For 20 yrs he was just fitting in and licking the boot of Havelange & Blatter. Just compromised & paid his way thru to be in power. Only in Africa !
