Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, Kweku Baako has rubbished claims of insecurity in the country.
Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' programme on Wednesday, Kweku Baako stated that the tag that Ghana has been rendered insecure particularly by the recent spate of armed robberies is a bogus argument.
According to him, the security in the country has not been breached and so it is a mere misrepresentation for any person to argue about the national security and deceive Ghanaians into thinking that the Akufo-Addo administration has made the country a haven for robbers and other criminals.
Kweku Baako expressed confidence in the Akufo-Addo government to handle the security issues.
He wondered how some Members of Parliament, political figures and critics would go at length to say there's insecurity in the country when "they have been gallivanting in discos and hotels with their girlfriends. I see some, they and their girlfriends".
"They were on radio saying that they don’t feel secured. They didn’t come with a Policeman when coming to the radio station, no security protection. The evening, I see them at the chop bar, beer bar sitting and drinking with the girls and their wives. Their children are going to school unprotected”, he told host Kwami Sefa Kayi.
