'If you're sleeping with men, make money from it' – Chez Amis CEO tells women

CEO of Chez Amis restaurant, Belinda, popularly known as Big Cheezy, has stirred reactions on social media after advising women from poor backgrounds to take advantage of opportunities available to them to improve their lives.

Speaking in a video shared on social media on July 16, 2026, Big Cheezy reflected on her journey from hardship to success while encouraging young people to embrace discipline, hard work, and financial prudence.

Reacting to criticism directed at a woman who claimed she bought a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon from the proceeds of selling meat pies, Big Cheezy mocked those who dismissed the claim.

"Be there and keep watching Nigerian movies. I watched this interview where a woman said she sold meat pie to buy a G-Wagon and people were trolling her. Go and sell a lion to make money. Since meat pie cannot buy a G-Wagon and attiéké cannot make people succeed in life, go and sell lions to make that money," she said.

She urged people to stop spending recklessly and instead cultivate the habit of saving.

"The little money most of you will make, you will just be spending anyhow. As at 2019, I couldn't afford Zara, not because I didn't have the money. I was rather enjoying saving my money than buying, even if I have to starve," she stated.

According to her, many people resort to begging despite being physically capable of working.

"Some of you just enjoy begging; meanwhile, you're not crippled. You have two hands and two legs. Life is hard for everyone. If you hear someone's story, you will realise you're not going through anything," she shared.

Big Cheezy also recounted some of the struggles she faced before attaining financial success.

"At a point, I sold my phone just to take care of my little baby. When I met a man, and he wanted to take my number, I wasn't able to provide any number because there was no phone, so I would rather direct you to my house," she noted.

She continued, "I know ladies have more opportunities than men. I understand it's difficult for men because a man will not come and give you money to sleep with you."

Big Cheezy further advised women who are already engaging in sexual relationships to use them as a means of improving their financial situation.

"If you're a lady here, you're still sleeping with men, whether you charge or you don't. The men are sleeping with you whether you're taking from them or not. Make money out of it and set yourself up because you're from a poor background like me," she added.
