Ban on Paul Afoko, Kwabena Agyapong etal lifted; free to attend NPP activities - Mac Manu

Former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Peter Mac Manu has indicated that the party will welcome embattled former National Executives of the party should they decide to patronize any of the party’s events.

According to him, Former National Chairman Paul Afoko, former First Vice Chairman Sammy Crabbe and former General Secretary of the party Kwabena Agyei Agyepong are welcome to join the party any time there is an activity

Mr. Manu who was speaking in an interview with MyNewsGh.com at the party’s 26th National Delegates conference currently underway at the Koforidua Technical University said the NPP used laid down procedures to legally relieve the former executives from office and will not bar them attending any of its activities.

Mr. Mac Manu intimated that the former executives after their removal from office cannot be barred from participating or patronizing the party’s activities.

According to him, the ruling NPP is a law-abiding and tolerant Party and will welcome its former executives any time they knock on the party’s doors inspite of the circumstances under which they left office.

The NPP suspended its 2nd Vice Chairman, Sammy Crabbe, alongside Mr. Agyapong in 2015, after they were accused of publicly rebelling against the party’s decision to indefinitely suspend its National Chairman, Paul Afoko.
