Former General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has counseled President John Dramani Mahama to commend Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia than condemning him.
To him Dr. Bawumia as an economist has disclosed and outlined a lot of issues to be taken note of by this ruling government and has as well enlightened them on matters they had no idea about.
Addressing President Mahama’s comment on describing himself as a ‘dead goat’, Sir John noted “In fact we are tired of being led by a ‘dead goat’, we now want a leader who can listen to us and put correct measures that would benefit every citizen.”
Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme, he added that “actions by the Inspector General of Police [IGP] shows he is occupying that position to cover-up members of the NDC who go against the laws of the sate per his territory.”
