National Chairman aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Richard Amoako Baah says he was unable to embark on a flamboyant campaign like his competitors because he is broke.

According to him, it also informed the reason his posters and banners are conspicuously missing at Koforidua Technical University which is the venue for the 26th National Delegates Conference of the party.

“Yes, you cannot see my banners and posters like my competitors because I am broke. I do not have money like they do in order to embark on such a profligate campaign”, he told MyNewsGh.com at the events ground

The former Political Scientist at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) berated acting National Chairman, Mr Freddie Blay of displaying cash insisting that his era will be over by the close of polls because the delegates are poised for change.

“There is certainly going to be a change and this will stop. It is not good for him to be doing that but I can assure you that he will lose this election to me”, he said.

Dr Richard Amoako Baah goes into the polls with Stephen Ayesu Ntim and Freddie Blay but reiterates that he will beat them to emerge victorious to lead the elephant family by the close of the day.

6000 delegates from all the ten regions of the country are expected to attend the upcoming 26th National Delegates Conference.

In all, twelve polling stations have been designated by the national elections committee in conjunction with Electoral Commission to cater for the elections.

About 41 persons are contesting for the 10 available positions up for grabs in the forthcoming national delegates’ conference.
