Ministerial appointees of the President Akufo Addo led-government have assured him that they will strictly comply with all the dictates of their office as public servants.

According to them, they’ll strive to comply with the law at all times as they dread the soon to be announced Special Prosector, who many believe would be a ruthless person.

President Akufo Addo on Tuesday evening swore in his second batch of ministers at the Flagstaff House, charging them to discharge their duties with honesty and humility.

He repeated his earlier charge made to the firts batch of ministers to the second batch, urging them to strictly comply with the requirement of assets declartion just as he the President has done by declaring his assets.

The Minister of Monitoring and Evaluation, Dr Anthony Akoto Osei who spoke on behalf of his colleague ministers committed to work assidously to realize the dreams of Ghanaians who have reposed trust in the NPP government.

“We’ve just been given copies of your first speech, I quickly read it and we are with you particularly on the issue of asserts declaration. We understand that we are public servants and Mr President we can assure you that we’ll be public servants. You mentioned in your speech about the Special Prosecutor…we’re afraid of the Special Prosecutor. I don’t know whether it’s by coincidence that as now Minister for Monitoring and Evaluation I happen to be chosen to respond on behalf of my colleagues. But I’ll want to respond on behalf of my colleagues that we thank you very much. On the first you met all of us we leant about the 3Cs…cooperation, candour and consensus. We assure you we’ll do all of that.”
