1. Years back, I visited a Telecel (then Vodafone) at the Accra Mall and a Middle Eastern guy who came in much later was made to jump the queue and served. When I pushed back I sounded like an idiot in the eyes of the CS agent. I told him that he should never think the ‘white’ guy was going to respect him for what he did but that a true gentleman would never accept such an offer of being priotized over others he’s come to meet. I ended up leaving with taking the service.

2. I visited the Decathlon at junction mall and whiles talking to a staff on the floor, he just left me to assist a policeman who had come there for private business. I asked him why he did that and all he could say was sorry, I will be with you in a moment. After serving the policeman he disappeared and forgot to return to me. Meanwhile, the policeman ended up not buying anything, I was burnt on buying some goodies for some friends but I decided to leave also and ended up at nearby shops to buy them there.
Some people have inferiority complex and their reasoning are very worrying. They end up destroying businesses of others. I always say that the problem in Ghana with businesses is customer service, they send huge sums to advertise and fail to take steps to improve on customer retention.
