  Ban the Styrofoam. It is destroying our environment choking gutters and blocking drains and remaining in landfills for thousands of years. This argument of being cheap is at what cost. Food vendors were doing business before this styrofoam nonsense and will continue to do so even after the ban. Stop the argument of thing being cheap. We used to use banana leaves which were far cheaper and the food tasted far better and far more environmentally friendly and did not block all our drains. There are better alternatives out there.

  In the 70s, 80s and early 90s before the arrival of the Styrofoam, there were environmentally friendly ways of wrapping food such as the leaf. I believe there are many more environmentally sustainable ways to wrap food. I support the ban 200% even if no alternative exists.
