The news happened to be true and today, 20th June 2020 the NPP primaries came off as planned but unfortunately for the MUSIGHA president he lost the battle to his opponent Hon. Kweku Asante Boateng.
After the election, Obour has come out to speak about how he has taken the loss and moving forward what needs to be done.
He said he promised Nana Addo 10,000 votes from his constituency and now that they have decided on a candidate they will make sure it happens, pledging his support to Hon. Kweku Asante Boateng.
