It was all fun and excitement as families and friends thronged various recreational centers and beaches to relax and de-stress on Boxing Day as the New Year approaches.
Boxing Day; the 26th of December is a holiday celebrated the day after Christmas. It is a day set aside for giving particularly to the needy and under- privileged.
Families and friends also meet, hangout and have fun on the day to unwind after a stressful year.
The Labadi Beach in Accra saw hundreds of patrons who flocked the place to have fun and spend some quality time with their loved ones.
Several fun-packed activities including horse riding, dancing and swimming characterized the place. Some business owners took the opportunity to display their wares and make some money.
Scores of tourists also visited the place to have a feel of the celebrations in Ghana as well as to mingle and make new acquaintances.
